Sr Food Service Specialist

About the role

A Senior Food Service Specialist assists the Food Services Manager in planning menus and is responsible for the preparation of meals and directing workflow in the Food Services Department.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare meals for the 3rd shift
• Handle meat orders for 2nd and 3rd shifts
• Multi-task with minimal supervision
• Work as a team player to ensure standard operating specifications are achieved in a safe and efficient manner
• Communicate effectively with other team members
• Follow the Company’s GMPs, SOPs, plant rules, other policies, and codes of conduct
• Follow written and oral instructions
• Strive to satisfy the requirements of both internal and external customers
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Work with minimal supervision
• Ability to stand, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Up to one month of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
