IGT is seeking an experienced Senior Fixed Assets Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting organization. This role will support the Company’s global accounting for fixed assets and capital projects, ensuring accurate and timely accounting and reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Company policies. The Senior Fixed Assets Accountant will be responsible for key accounting activities throughout the fixed asset lifecycle—from initial capital expenditure and construction-in-progress through capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairment, and disposal. The role will also support purchase accounting and integration activities related to acquired fixed assets. This position will partner closely with Corporate Accounting, Technical Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, Tax, and regional Finance teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform accounting and reporting activities for fixed assets and capital projects in accordance with U.S. GAAP, Company policies, and internal control requirements.
- Maintain fixed asset accounting throughout the asset lifecycle, including additions, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, disposals, retirements, and impairment considerations.
