Sr Financial Reporting Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to support accounting, reporting, and technical research activities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and support the review of quarterly and annual US GAAP financial statements, including footnotes, MD&A inputs, and cash flow workpapers.
Aid in drafting and updating financial reporting templates, disclosures, and internal reporting deliverables.
Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant filing support across reporting cycles.
Provide support on complex transactions, including revenue recognition, business combinations, and debt and equity arrangements.
Perform technical research and draft accounting memos for review.
Support accounting for M&A integration and valuation efforts, including purchase price accounting, integration of financial reporting, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Afford assistance in updating and maintaining best-in-class financial reporting policies, procedures, and internal controls in accordance with SOX and audit requirements.
Contribute to process improvements related to month-end close, reporting, and internal controls.
Partner with Finance, Legal, and Tax to ensure alignment of reporting deliverables and policy decisions with broader business strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for quarterly and annual reporting.
Offer support for external auditors on technical accounting and reporting matters.
Coordinate and respond to audit inquiries in a timely and organized manner.
Afford assistance with SOX controls documentation and compliance activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or CPA-eligible preferred.
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a mix of public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or industry experience.
Experience in a high-growth or PE-backed company preferred.
Strong understanding of US GAAP; exposure to financial reporting or SEC reporting is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to perform technical accounting research and draft accounting memos.
Experience supporting business combinations, asset acquisitions, or valuation activities is a plus.
Strong knowledge of internal controls, SOX principles, and financial systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain accounting concepts clearly.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
