Responsibilities
- Develops, interprets, and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control.
- Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
- Gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
- Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
- PARTNERS WITH BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT TEAMS FOR QUOTES AND PRICING ESTIMATES FOR NEW AND OUTGOING GOVERNMENT PROPOSALS.
- SUPPORTS EAC AND POC ESTIMATE ANALYSIS AND FORECASTING ON ACTIVE WORKING PROGRAMS FOR BOTH THE DOD AND DOE.
- DEVELOPS PLANS INCLUDING BUDGETS AND FORECASTS.
- PROVIDES IN-DEPTH FINANCIAL ANALYSIS, INTERPRETING RESULTS AND MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS TO MANAGEMENT.
- PROVIDES IN-DEPTH FINANCIAL ANALYSIS, INTERPRETING RESULTS AND MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS TO MANAGEMENT.
- SUPPORTS THE DEVELOPMENT AND DELIVERY OF FINANCIAL POLICIES, GUIDELINES, AND PROTOCOLS TO ENSURE THE COMPANY COMPLIES WITH REGULATIONS AND GOOD FINANCIAL PRACTICE.
- RESOLVES AND ENFORCES FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATORY AGENCIES.
- MAY CONDUCT PRINCIPAL AUDITS AND SUPPORT INTERNAL, EXTERNAL AND GOVERNMENT AUDIT REQUIREMENTS.
- PREPARES AND ANALYZES MONTH-END FINANCIAL REPORTS; REVIEWING FOR ACCURACY OR OMISSIONS, REPORTING FINDINGS TO MANAGEMENT AND ALERT MANAGEMENT TO SIGNIFICANT VARIANCES TO PLAN AND FORECAST.
- PERFORMS AD-HOC REPORTING AND STUDIES AS REQUIRED INCLUDING COST VOLUMES FOR PROPOSALS.
Qualifications
- Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens.
- MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN DOD SECURITY CLEARANCES AND APPROVALS.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA sets you apart).
- Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing experience is required.
- Understanding of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices relevant to financial analysis.
- Working knowledge of FAR and DFAR Processes.
- Ability to identify financial issues, develop solutions, and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Ability to create clear and concise reports and presentations.
- Strong organizational skills to handle large volumes of data and complex analyses.
- High level of accuracy in data analysis, financial reporting, and model development.

Salary: $86,100 - $115,000 per year
