Sr. Financial Analyst
About the Role
Waters has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to provide business partnership, financial insights, and analytical support to the Americas Field Operations Division. The division provides sales, service, and technical support to the US and Canada. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Americas Finance team and will report to the Senior Americas Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to Chemistry and Informatics field organizations.
- Support development of financial targets and objectives, including the annual plan and monthly forecasts.
- Act as a steward of the Certified Pre-Owned Instrument business, monitoring financial performance and coordination of logistics.
- Interpret financial results and provide actionable insights into business drivers and trends.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional departments to drive results.
- Drive process improvements, efficiencies, and standardization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management or related field of study.
- 4-8 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of P&L statements, various finance/accounting concepts, variance analysis and financial modeling.
- Proven ability to manage a variety of competing deadlines, and flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated experience and passion for improving processes and problem solving.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP and PowerBI preferred.
