Sr. Financial Analyst
Your Role
The Senior Financial Analyst is a highly visible finance role that partners closely with Global Functions and supports strategic decision-making across the business. This individual will play a key role in business case development for new product initiatives and profitability analysis, expense management for Global Functions, and total Vantive Capital consolidation. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical rigor, sound business judgment, and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build and maintain financial models to support new product innovation, investment decisions, and resource allocation in partnership with marketing, R&D, regional finance teams and other functional leaders.
- Consolidate Vantive’s capital budget by coordinating with Regions and Functions for Plan, Forecast and Actual reporting
- Cook up with FP&A COE teams on financial planning processes for Global Functions, including the Annual Operating Plan and quarterly forecasts.
- Deliver clear variance analysis against plan, forecast, and prior year results, highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct strategic ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to evaluate business performance and support leadership decision-making.
- Support Finance leadership in process improvements, policy development, and other strategic initiatives that enhance business performance.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- 5+ years or more of related experience
- Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to build clear, decision-oriented analyses.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships across functions.
- Strong analytical capabilities, solid accounting knowledge, and well-developed business acumen.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a track record of driving work to completion and delivering results.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work cross-functionally, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Outlook.
- Experience with JD Edwards (JDE), Planful, or similar financial systems is preferred.
Pay
The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
