Key Accountabilities

Lead the annual administrative cost allocation process, engage with department leads to ensure proper inputs and align enterprise goals with cost center allocations, ensuring it is realistic and achievable.

Analyze allocation impacts and clearly communicate results to stakeholders, addressing questions and driving understanding.

Provide clear, actionable insights on cost drivers, trends, and risks; proactively identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Actively manage financial risks and opportunities monthly in collaboration with other departments to ensure financial targets are achieved.

Financial Modeling

Develop and maintain complex ad hoc cost models for administrative and shared services expenses, providing scenario, sensitivity, and what-if analyses to support decision-making.

Translate financial data into actionable insights, clearly communicating the story behind administrative cost trends, variances, and projected impacts to non-finance stakeholders.

Proactively identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or optimize cost structures, providing scenario, sensitivity, and what-if analyses to support decision-making.

Support corporate-wide strategic and operational initiatives on an ad hoc basis, providing financial analysis, modeling, and decision support.

Continuously improve forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and processes through automation and standardization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, finance or accounting or equivalent experience
  • 7 years of work experience beyond degree in progressively more responsible finance roles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with administrative cost allocations and/or labor financial models
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with proven experience building complex financial models to support decision making
  • Prominent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex financial information for non-finance executive stakeholders through written, verbal, and presentation formats
  • Demonstrated ability to make thoughtful, data-driven decisions
  • Ability to act in a trusted advisory role, operating as a finance partner for business leaders

Work Location

The position is an Office role, requiring an employee to work onsite, on average, 3 days per week. We are open to candidates located near one of the following office locations: Minnetonka, MN, or Madison, WI.

Compensation

The full salary grade for this position is $88,800 - $152,300. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $88,800 - $133,245. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
