Responsibilities
- Become the BOM subject matter expert; analyzing changes and reporting variances
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, providing clear and concise summaries of BOM costs and impacts
- Lead strategic BOM initiatives
- Partner with Engineering, from DRE’s to the CTO, to understand financial tradeoffs for proposed design changes
- Partner with Engineering leaders with budgeting, forecasting and compiling targets for both BOM and investment for future programs
- Partner with the Technical Program Management team to understand changes in the BOM and analyze engineering change orders (ECO) by being on the Change Review Board (CRB)
- Cook with Supply Chain and Engineering to insure data integrity in the BOM is accurate
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Engineering to insure data integrity in the BOM is accurate
- Continuously improve BOM management processes and tools to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Ad hoc analysis as necessary to support leadership in the decision making process
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with an emphasis in Finance
- 5+ years of relevant Finance experience
- Preferably in Product Development, but not required
