About the role
The client is the nation's premier provider of Safety and Security solutions, PE-backed platform operating across the U.S. under 8 distinct brands. This is a company where top performers get noticed, promoted, and rewarded.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the rolling 6+6 forecast model and drive the annual budgeting process
- Build dynamic financial models supporting strategic decisions, operational initiatives, and M&A activity (~2 acquisitions/year)
- Prepare and present cash flow statements at month-end and quarter-end within a tight 10-business-day close cycle
- Serve as the finance liaison across 8 operating brands, partnering directly with brand leaders and senior executives
- Support Power BI and AI-driven automation initiatives and contribute to PE sponsor reporting (direct exposure to institutional PE ownership)
- Handle ad hoc projects for the CFO, CEO, and private equity sponsor
Requirements
- Proven corporate FP&A experience: budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a complex, multi-entity environment
- Ability to build three-statement financial models (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) from scratch
- Software: Power BI required; IBM Cognos and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience strongly preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communicator who can translate complex financial data into clear narratives for executives and PE stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment — willing to roll up sleeves when it counts
Skills
- Accounting background a plus
- Wholesale distribution or industrial sector experience helpful but not required

- $120K–$130K base + 10% annual bonus target

Schedule
- Hybrid – Tue–Thu in-office (or Mon–Wed); expect ~4 days/week during onboarding ramp
