Sr. Financial Analyst

About the role
The Sr. Financial Analyst will assist the Manager of FP&A in developing and implementing key financial analysis systems and processes. This role independently manages forecasting, analysis, and business performance insights, applying strong analytical expertise to forecast KPIs and financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders. The Sr. Financial Analyst partners closely with business leaders to influence decision-making that supports the operational and financial goals of the business. This position focuses on supporting our GTM Organization by delivering timely, insightful financial analysis to inform business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Own forecasting and planning activities by building, updating, and maintaining financial models that consistently deliver accurate forecasts
- Analyze financial performance and identify key drivers by reviewing variances against budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Develop actionable insights by synthesizing financial and operational data to support business decision-making
- Partner with business stakeholders by providing financial guidance, challenging assumptions, and influencing outcomes
- Prepare and deliver financial reporting by ensuring data and insights are accurate, clear, and relevant to leadership
- Evaluate trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities and risks impacting financial results
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems and resolve discrepancies
- Enhance financial models by leveraging automation, forecasting tools, and alternative forecasting methodologies
- Communicate complex financial concepts by tailoring messaging to diverse audiences and stakeholders
- Drive process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing enhancements to reporting and forecasting workflows
- Support ad hoc financial analysis by responding to business needs and delivering timely insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally by aligning financial perspectives with operational priorities
- Maintain documentation by clearly outlining assumptions, methodologies, and conclusions for financial analyses and plans
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies by adhering to established financial governance standards
- Experiment with and develop AI use cases to drive efficiency
Requirements
- B.S. degree in finance, accounting, or a related degree
- 5+ years’ finance-related experience
- Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills
- Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas and data analysis
- Experience with financial systems such as Adaptive, or other similar tools
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, curious, and focused on continuous improvement
Desired Skills
- Experience in SaaS or financial technology environments
- Workday Adaptive experience, including workforce modeling
- Sales or Marketing Support experience
- Salesforce experience
- Familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes
- Experience improving financial processes or implementing automation

Pay
The salary range for this position is $92,400 - $115,500.
