About the role
Join the NA PET Brand Finance team and help lead the growth in the Treating & Cat Feeding Business Unit, supporting Blue Buffalo Treats. Blue Buffalo is the #1 natural pet food brand in the US, playing in both premium and super-premium segments, with a mission to help pet parents love and feed their pets like family. By 2030, the North America Pet Segment expects to reach household penetration of 40MM and sales of $4 billion.
In this role, you will impact North America Pet's growth trajectory and long-term business model by partnering with the Blue Buffalo Treats brand and cross-functional leadership. Your financial leadership will span strategy development, long-term planning, business model development, investment optimization, and the product life cycle. You will partner with the Brand team to establish and support compelling brand strategies across key brands (Nudges, Top Chews, True Chews, Health Bars, Bits, etc.), lead core PEAK/planning processes, and unlock value from new Athena capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Run your business to deliver against financial targets. Understand business performance and translate insights into actionable strategies to accelerate performance and mitigate risk.
- Lead monthly P&L forecasting (inclusive of Business Unit MBR leadership) and the annual planning process for treats.
- Provide financial leadership for your portfolio. Build robust plans to support growth, margin expansion, product innovation/renovation, and resource optimization.
- Drive and influence decisions with cross-functional partners through a strategic, holistic financial and pet parent lens.
- Provide financial leadership on Innovation projects, SRM and HMM plans, and Capital Investment decisions.
Requirements
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3+ years of work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders through effective communication and presentation.
- Track record of exercising fiduciary responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail (Risk Management).
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to adjust to changes (Situational Agility).
- Able to establish processes, make improvements, and organize work effectively (Process Excellence).
- Identify and extract the right data from financial systems to provide meaningful analysis (Analytic Proficiency).
- Experience with Microsoft Office Tools.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $82,400 - $123,800 annually. Pay reflects education, skills, work experience, certifications, and other factors. Successful candidates may fall anywhere within this range.
