What Does a Sr. Field Service Technician Do?
- Visit customers in assigned geography to diagnose and repair moderate to highly complex Coca-Cola beverage equipment.
- Move or remove equipment as required.
- Travel to and from customer locations in assigned area.
- Effective and appropriate interaction with customers, management, and associates.
- Document travel, labor, and materials (parts and supplies) use for each activity.
- Maintain accurate parts inventory.
- Attend meetings as assigned.
- Assist with special projects and events as assigned.
- Assist other associates as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma (or GED) is required.
- CFC Refrigeration Certification upon hire is preferred.
- Two to four years' experience in diagnosis & repair of consumer or commercial appliances is required.
- One to two years beverage service technician (EFC, fountain install, bottle/can reactive) experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP CONA, Microsoft Outlook, and PDF reader on an iPhone and/or iPad type device is necessary.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as assigned.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- A positive attitude is essential.
- The ability to work with others is required.
- Completion of B.E.S.T., Freestyle Series, ABS, Remote Refrigeration, Water Filtration, Hot Beverage, Juice Machine, and Fundamental Skills certifications within the first year is necessary.
- To complete equipment manufacturing and company training within 180 days of hire.
