What Does a Sr. Field Service Technician Do?

  • Visit customers in assigned geography to diagnose and repair moderate to highly complex Coca-Cola beverage equipment.
  • Move or remove equipment as required.
  • Travel to and from customer locations in assigned area.
  • Effective and appropriate interaction with customers, management, and associates.
  • Document travel, labor, and materials (parts and supplies) use for each activity.
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory.
  • Attend meetings as assigned.
  • Assist with special projects and events as assigned.
  • Assist other associates as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma (or GED) is required.
  • CFC Refrigeration Certification upon hire is preferred.
  • Two to four years' experience in diagnosis & repair of consumer or commercial appliances is required.
  • One to two years beverage service technician (EFC, fountain install, bottle/can reactive) experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP CONA, Microsoft Outlook, and PDF reader on an iPhone and/or iPad type device is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as assigned.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • A positive attitude is essential.
  • The ability to work with others is required.
  • Completion of B.E.S.T., Freestyle Series, ABS, Remote Refrigeration, Water Filtration, Hot Beverage, Juice Machine, and Fundamental Skills certifications within the first year is necessary.
  • To complete equipment manufacturing and company training within 180 days of hire.
