Job Summary
Swire Coca-Cola is a family-owned bottling company with a rich history in the beverage industry. We are one of the largest bottlers of Coca-Cola in North America and serve over 30 million consumers daily. As a Sr. Field Service Technician, you will visit customers in assigned geographies to diagnose and repair complex beverage equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose multiple types of complex fountain machine equipment and other beverage equipment to determine work, parts, and materials needed and make required repairs.
- Move or remove equipment as required.
- Travel to and from customer locations in assigned area.
- Effective and appropriate interaction with customers, management, and associates.
- Document travel, labor, and materials (parts and supplies) use for each activity.
- Correctly check in and out equipment and materials (parts and supplies).
- Maintain accurate parts inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle.
- Attend meetings as assigned.
- Aid with special projects and events as assigned.
- Aid other associates as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or GED) required.
- CFC Refrigeration Certification upon hire preferred.
- 2-4 years' experience in diagnosis & repair of consumer or commercial appliances required.
- 1-2 years beverage service technician (EFC, fountain install, bottle/can reactive) experience preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP CONA, Microsoft Outlook, and PDF reader on an iPhone and/or iPad type device.
- Valid driver's license.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as assigned.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to work with others.
- Ability to complete B.E.S.T., Freestyle Series, ABS, Remote Refrigeration, Water Filtration, Hot Beverage Juice Machine, and Fundamental Skills certifications within first year.
- Ability to complete equipment manufacturing and company training within 180 days of hire.
