Sr Field Engineer - Emerging Technology

This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a consumer-facing environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison for pilot executions in stores and supply chains
• Lead technical demos and briefings for senior leadership
• Support technology POCs involving emerging technologies
• Evaluate products and gather insights in real-world settings
• Coordinate pilot timelines and stakeholder communications
• Assess store network and infrastructure for pilots
• Perform maintenance and technical servicing of prototypes
• Design testing protocols for validation of new technologies
• Troubleshoot smart glasses and spatial computing hardware
• Manage secure transport of devices for testing cycles

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience
• 5 years in IT or a technology-focused business
• 5 years supporting a core engineering team
• 4 years in retail technology initiatives
• 1 year using JIRA or similar tools for complex initiatives

Pay

$95,100 – $180,700 annually
