Sr. Fabric Engineer -Local to Charlotte NC-CONTRACT TO HIRE

Strong Microsoft Fabric experience, ideally involving a production implementationSolid prior background in Apache Spark / distributed data engineeringExperience with data pipelines, transformation and orchestrationStrong SQL and Python/PySpark skillsUnderstanding of Fabric components such as Lakehouse, Data Factory, notebooks, OneLake and related data engineering capabilitiesAbility to work with an implementation partner and independently assess architecture and technical decisionsCapable of becoming the internal technical owner of the Fabric environment after implementationStrong communication skills and ability to work directly with technical leadershipMicrosoft/Azure data platform experience would be highly valuableArchitecture or platform ownership experience is a plus This is expected to be onsite in Charlotte approximately three days per week, so candidates who can realistically support that requirement will be considered.
