Sr. Experiential Graphic Designer

RSM Design is an award-winning, international architectural graphics design firm specializing in branding, project visioning, graphic identity, wayfinding, signage design, architectural graphics, and placemaking.

About the role

RSM Design is seeking an experienced Project Director and EGD designer to join our team. The candidate will assist in leading a team of designers through all phases of project, from visioning through implementation. This is a full-time, in-person position with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of designers through all project phases, including visioning and implementation
• Manage projects using project planning software
• Design and develop signage, wayfinding, and placemaking packages
• Create client presentations and manage client expectations with clear communication and leadership
• Collaborate in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment
• Travel to out-of-town project locations occasionally

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in experiential/environmental graphic design or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• 3D rendering skills in SketchUp or similar software
• Experience leading projects and managing a team of designers
• Strong client presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, architecture, or a related field
• Willingness to work in the studio at either our LA or San Clemente locations
