Responsibilities
We are looking for an Experiential Graphic Designer to join our Houston Branding, Graphics & Experience Design Team, while supporting our other BGX Designers nationwide. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary design team (branding & graphics, interior architecture, architecture) to develop strategies and document graphic solutions that will extend our client’s brand story into the built environment.
- Designing concepts for touchpoints such as interior and exterior signage & wayfinding, thematic & specialty graphics, visioning and experiences for various types of facilities and spaces.
- Developing Signage and Wayfinding Programming Documents (Location Plans and Message Schedules), expanding signage and graphics design concepts, and detailing signage drawings for fabrication and installation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge and understanding of architectural drawings and process.
- Understanding of materials and methods required for signage fabrication and installation.
- Significant knowledge and interest in typography and color.
- Professional demeanor, positive attitude, eagerness for learning and knowledge-sharing in a collaborative studio.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and deliver constructive critique.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to creative excellence.
- A portfolio demonstrating a strong design sensibility and typographic skills.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and CADDTools.
- Revit, FileMaker, and/or WayfindIt experience is a plus.
Qualifications
A bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design, communication, or environmental design is preferred, but candidates from the architectural or interior architectural disciplines are also welcome. 4+ years of professional work experience with a focus in signage, wayfinding, and experiential graphic design is preferred.

Pay
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Certain roles are bonus eligible, and actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
