Responsibilities
- Manage the estimation process through collaboration with various stakeholders to understand deliverables and develop competitive project bids.
- Ensure the bid team has the necessary inputs to produce high-quality work that aligns with the organization's objectives and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, review and analyze project plans, and provide guidance and support to project managers and other stakeholders.
- Prepare proposals by studying specifications and arriving at inclusion and exclusion lists, technical qualifications, assumptions, and deviations.
- Prepare technical submittals such as system architecture, floor risers, schematics, and specification compliance as per requirements.
- Use P&E estimating tools like CPQ, SWAT, and PlanSwift for estimating, preparing point counts, cost/price per square foot, and subcontractor scope that matches the scope used for SWAT.
- Perform quality checks for the jobs and contribute towards establishing and standardizing new processes for cost optimization and cycle time reduction.
- Contribute towards developing solutions that meet customer requirements by applying knowledge and understanding of Honeywell products.
Qualifications
- Must have 5 or more years of work experience in relevant field.
- Extensive knowledge of Building Automation Controls design and code compliance, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, and Life Safety Systems (Fire Alarm).
- Ability to manage estimates and/or projects to standards, budgets.
- Must have MS Office (Excel & Word) competency.
- Working hours' flexibility to meet deadlines.
- Pre-sales process knowledge.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders from different geographic regions in multiple time zones.
- Able to balance speed and accuracy to meet timelines.
- Exposure to Building Management System (BMS) or a willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple estimates and deliver on time.

Schedule
Hybrid 3/2 Work Schedule. For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F. After 90 days, the hybrid schedule can be implemented.
