About the role

We are looking for a talented Senior Ergonomist/Senior Program Manager to join our Global Ergonomics Risk Programs team. The ideal candidate will drive high-visibility, strategic musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) risk reduction programs and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise by applying a variety of scientific techniques, standardized assessments, and problem-solving skills to drive innovative solutions for MSD and optimize performance.
  • Own job rotations, partnership programs, and mechanisms used by operations teams.
  • Support MSD risk reduction projects and programs, managing components of these projects through visibility across functional partners.
  • Develop or implement research, investigation, or analysis protocols.
  • Teach and facilitate training to operations and support teams.
  • Close the feedback loop between Job Rotations users and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive job rotation compliance.
  • Operate and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage multiple VP and Director goals, working closely with senior leaders in WHS and key partner organizations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • 5+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
  • Bachelor's degree in ergonomics, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or related fields with emphasis on ergonomics/biomechanics.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with tools/systems to analyze data, experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery, experience in CAD skills, and knowledge of predetermined motion time systems.
  • Master's degree in ergonomics, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, or related fields with a strong emphasis in physical ergonomics/occupational biomechanics.
  • Experience with certification as a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE).
