Sr. Equipment Rental Specialist

About the role

The Sr. Inside Sales Representative (Sr. Equipment Rental Specialist) is an experienced inside sales role responsible for supporting telephone and walk‑in customers with rentals of all types of construction/industrial equipment. This position serves as the company’s front line of contact with the customer, focusing on understanding equipment needs, negotiating and placing orders, providing strong administrative support, and delivering customer satisfaction through a professional attitude. Ancillary duties may include assisting with logistics for equipment dispatch and training other team members.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer equipment needs

• Support logistics of dispatch equipment delivery
• Train other team members
• Physical demands: bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, working indoors/outdoors as required

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver’s license required
• At least 3 years of equipment rental industry experience OR a 4‑year degree plus 1 year of equipment rental industry experience (preferred)

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and telephone skills
• Solid computer and administrative skills
• Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process (preferred)
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations

Pay

Base Pay Range: $24.05 – $28.55 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and/or experience.
