Sr. Environmental Engineer

Company is recruiting a Sr Environmental Engineer to support their Houston, TX facility. Individual will be responsible for managing Environmental programs for the Houston Plant. It offers competitive compensation packages and a good work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Manage LDAR Monitoring Program, Quarterly TO/Flare Testing, waste disposal and other assigned duties within budget.
• Receive environmental invoices (SAP).
• Ensure compliance with AIMS HESQ policies & practices including ISO‑9001, ISO‑14001, ISO‑45001 and RCMS, and with legal/regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, etc.).
• Perform site internal reporting of sustainability KPIs (environmental, energy, etc.).
• Manage assigned environmental media to maintain 100% compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, permit requirements and corporate requirements by preparing/submitting accurate reports and notices on time and communicating regulatory/permit requirements to plant personnel.
• Provide information and training to plant management and personnel on environmentally related job responsibilities through training presentations and Computer Based Training (CBT).
• Offer technical guidance and support to plant projects and initiatives (e.g., Management of Change, Capital Appropriation Requests, Standard Operating Procedures); conduct environmental reviews and analysis to identify issues and provide solutions to mitigate hazards.
• Coordinate testing activities to ensure operational activities meet regulatory requirements; conduct environmental sampling as necessary.
• Prepare and submit accurate reports and notices on time; communicate regulatory and permit requirements to plant personnel.
