About the role

As a Senior Engineer, you will provide technical expertise on a critical role involving network transformation, network outages, service issues, network optimization, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to keep things running smoothly and change the way that our customers live, work, and play.
  • Perform troubleshooting, configuration changes, drive issues to resolution, and related functions.
  • Maintain network systems and applications to ensure overall system availability and performance.
  • Comply with company- and industry-wide standard directives to maintain network performance and enhance efficiency.
  • Optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain network equipment, finding ways to make it even better.
  • Partner with all key stakeholders to ensure new features and/or fixes are swiftly rolled out with no negative impact to customers or system performance.
  • Leverage automation to eliminate manual processes and provide near real-time visibility into system health and performance.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 75% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license. Additional qualifications may include:
    • A technical degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
    • Five or more years of experience in telecommunications.
    • Experience with automation tools.
    • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve IP network troubles in the physical, data link, and network layers.
    • Expert-level knowledge of services, network devices, knowledge base solutions, and system monitoring tools.

Qualifications

  • Even better if you have:
    • Technical degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
    • Five or more years of experience in telecommunications.
    • Experience with automation tools.
    • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve IP network troubles in the physical, data link, and network layers.
    • Expert-level knowledge of services, network devices, knowledge base solutions, and system monitoring tools.

Pay

$96,000.00 - $157,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule.
