About the role

As a Senior Engineer, you will provide technical expertise on a critical role involving network transformation, network outages, service issues, network optimization, and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to keep things running smoothly and change the way that our customers live, work, and play.
- Perform troubleshooting, configuration changes, drive issues to resolution, and related functions.
- Maintain network systems and applications to ensure overall system availability and performance.
- Comply with company- and industry-wide standard directives to maintain network performance and enhance efficiency.
- Optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain network equipment, finding ways to make it even better.
- Partner with all key stakeholders to ensure new features and/or fixes are swiftly rolled out with no negative impact to customers or system performance.
- Leverage automation to eliminate manual processes and provide near real-time visibility into system health and performance.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
- Three or more years of relevant experience required.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 75% of the time.
- Valid driver's license. Additional qualifications may include:
- A technical degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
- Five or more years of experience in telecommunications.
- Experience with automation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve IP network troubles in the physical, data link, and network layers.
- Expert-level knowledge of services, network devices, knowledge base solutions, and system monitoring tools.
Qualifications
- Even better if you have:
- Technical degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
- Five or more years of experience in telecommunications.
- Experience with automation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve IP network troubles in the physical, data link, and network layers.

Pay
$96,000.00 - $157,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule.
