About the role
This role is essential for designing and developing data solutions, including scalable databases and dashboards. It calls for someone who thinks holistically about data systems, critically assesses the current state, envisions future improvements, and drives the shift toward more scalable, effective data solutions. Success is measured by the effectiveness of data solutions, team skill development, and contribution to data architecture innovation. Responsibilities
- Develop data solutions that enable data pipelines, dashboards, and analytical tools to support business requirements
- Design and develop data architectures to ensure scalable data infrastructure
- Perform data wrangling, exploration, and discovery to build dashboards that generate new business insights
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and drive the advancement of new data products
- Mentor team members to build and enhance their data engineering skillsets and professional growth
- Assist management in project definition, including estimating, planning, and scoping work to meet objectives
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned by business management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
- Acceptable areas of study include Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related subject area (Required)
- 4-7 years developing cloud solutions using data series; experience with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud) (Required)
- 4-7 years hands-on development using and migrating data to cloud platforms (Required)
- 4-7 years experience in SQL and/or relational database design and development (Required)
- 4-7 years advanced knowledge and experience in building complex data pipelines with Python; experience in languages such as SQL, Scala (Required)
- Cloud platform certification(s) (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) (Preferred)
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States

Pay
Base pay range: $105,100 - $189,600. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on work location, qualifications, and experience. Most Corporate employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and/or individual performance, set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year (e.g., 15% target). Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
