Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer requirements and develop technical solutions, including scope, feasibility, cost, and risk assessments.
  • Manage complex application projects and provide expert technical support throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and global engineering teams to deliver competitive, high-quality solutions.
  • Support business growth by identifying new application opportunities, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Review orders for technical accuracy and ensure successful project execution with cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver technical presentations, training, and application support for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain application documentation and contribute product and market insights to Product Management.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on long-term and strategic projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in applications engineering, machine manufacturing, or a related industrial environment; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, machine components, electrical systems, and technical drawings.
  • Ability to analyze customer requirements and develop practical, cost-effective application solutions.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience supporting proposals, quotations, application engineering, or technical sales activities preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering-related software, with strong mathematical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, sales teams, and cross-functional engineering groups.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and meet U.S. Person requirements (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident).
