Sr Engineer, AI Innovations

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML system reliability, performance optimization, and infrastructure capacity planning.
• Design and implement AI/ML technical systems with focus on reliability, security, and scalability.
• Mentor others in MLOPs practices, including automation of AI workflows and model deployment pipelines.
• Drive incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for AI/ML production systems.
• Design model monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Lead implementation and maintain AI specific security protocols and best practices.
• Optimize computational resource utilization for AI/ML workloads.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate AI/ML capabilities.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging AI/ML technologies and frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for AI systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. In lieu of degree, +5 years of professional experience is required.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in AI/ML engineering, MLOPs, or related fields.
• Certifications such as AWS Machine Learning Specialty, Google ML Engineer, or Azure AI Engineer.
• Preferred Experience in the healthcare (medical or dental industry), retail, or other large enterprise environments.
• Experience developing FDA compliant technical documentation for AI/ML systems.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Advanced problem-solving for complex AI/ML challenges, Strong mentoring and technical leadership abilities, Strategic thinking with hands-on AI/ML development expertise, Ability to influence AI/ML adoption decisions across teams, Expertise in AI/ML lifecycle management and deployment, Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills, Proficient in evaluating AI/ML technologies and risk assessment.

Pay

$150,000.00 - $194,000.00 / Annually
