Sr Engagement Manager, AWS ProServe

About the role

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to lead the delivery of complex cloud and trade solutions projects. This role requires combining technical expertise with strong project leadership skills to drive successful implementations of AWS-based AI-powered trade solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

• Leverage comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
• Bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
• Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes
• Decompose complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
• Contribute to technical documentation and define documentation standards
• Up to 50% international travel required to engage with international trade customers and implementation teams

Requirements

• Leading multiple Agile teams (like Scrum Masters, Product Owners) concurrently or at scale experience
• Leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements experience
• Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Experience with international trade and global logistics
• Active project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2)
• Experience delivering customer engagements in a professional services role
• Experience with Agile and project management toolsets like Jira, Rally, VersionOne or Taiga
• Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field
• 5+ years of delivering customer engagements in a professional services role experience

Skills

• Technical credibility across diverse stakeholders
• Ability to apply AWS frameworks like Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework
• Strong communication skills to both technical and business audiences

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $153,600.00 - $207,700.00 USD annually.
