Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end email development, optimization, QA, and deployment
  • Write and maintain clean, scalable HTML/CSS for email, ensuring cross-client compatibility (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.)
  • Build and manage modular, reusable email templates and components to improve speed and consistency
  • Implement dynamic content, personalization, and conditional logic within email builds
  • Lead QA processes, including rendering validation, link testing, and deliverability safeguards
  • Continuously optimize code for load speed, accessibility, and inbox performance
  • Translate marketing requirements into technical builds and scalable solutions
  • Act as a key connector between marketing, engineering, and data teams to ensure seamless campaign execution
  • Leverage customer data to deliver targeted, behavior-driven communications
  • Partner with data engineering to maintain reliable data flows and integrations
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to email infrastructure, templates, and processes
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert for email marketing within the organization

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing operations, with a strong focus on HTML email development
  • Advanced proficiency in HTML and CSS for email
  • Deep understanding of email client rendering behaviors, responsive design, and accessibility standards
  • Strong working knowledge of audience segmentation, data structures, and personalization logic
  • Experience partnering with engineering, data, and marketing stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for precision, testing, and continuous optimization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Pay

This role pays a base salary between $103,000 and $115,000 per annum, depending on skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
