Hourly pay range: $26.78 - $43.39. The base salary range represents a good-faith estimate for this position. This role is eligible for annual incentive pay and continued salary growth. Responsibilities
- Provide general direction and oversight of electrical plans during planning and development of new or renovated plant and lift station projects
- Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, outlets, switches, wiring motors, motor controls, instrumentation, SCADA system hardware, control panels, and power tools
- Conduct start-up testing and troubleshooting
- Communicate and coordinate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, external organizations, and customers
- Ensure operational reliability and environmental compliance
- Perform duties in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies
- Report unsafe conditions

Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as an electrician working with 480-volt electrical systems
- Valid Driver’s License (must possess and maintain)
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in a related field
- Certification as a licensed electrician desired (equivalent experience and training may substitute)
- Travel requirements: less than 5%
Skills
- Knowledge of electrical tasks related to water distribution and wastewater collection systems, as well as electro-mechanical equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and ladder logic drawings
- Knowledge of electrical commercial and industrial codes (NEC, OSHA, NFPA)
- Proficiency with basic computer software, including RSLogix and RSLink ladder logic diagnostic software
- Understanding of computer hardware, SCADA systems, and wiring instruments
- Ability to use precision tools and instruments (electrical test equipment, thermographic analysis, vibration equipment)
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Work Environment
- Subject to outdoor and indoor elements, including temperature changes
- Requires walking, kneeling, standing, lifting, and bending
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Involves operating riding mowers, push mowers, and weed eaters
