Sr Electrical Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of superintendents, project field engineers, and other field staff
• Permit document administration and control
• Complete review and understanding of subcontractor’s scope of work
• Cookordination safety meetings and overall responsibility for project safety
• Control project access and traffic
• Tool/equipment inventory, coordination and rental
• Cookordinate, schedule and maintain records of all project testing and certificates including concrete and soil testing
• Cookordinate with PM, PCM and PFE daily regarding project progress, S/C performance, QA/QC and reporting
• Complete “3-week look ahead schedule” and update master schedule with PCM
• Cookperate with PM, PCM and PFE daily regarding project progress, S/C performance, QA/QC and reporting
• Complete Daily Log Reports (Procore)
• Maintain “As Built” drawings for final submittal
• Cookordinate and schedule project inspections
• Final inspection and proper close-out documentation
• Quality control of installed materials and Equipment
• Site layout and control of benchmarks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field is preferred
• Minimum 6 years’ work experience as an electrical Superintendent - In lieu of degree, 10+ years of work experience
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have project scheduling, planning, organization and document control
• Superior communication and organization skills, especially when managing subcontractors and inspectors
• OSHA Certification - In depth knowledge of OSHA safety standards and procedures
• Experience with the following software: Microsoft Office Suite, Scheduling Programs and Document
