Sr. Electrical & Instrument Technician
for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections where posting has real specific content. We need to extract content.
The posting includes:
- Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Department: Operations (metadata, can be short p)
- Position Summary: description (maybe About the role)
- Core Duties And Responsibilities: list of duties (Responsibilities)
- Education And Experience: requirements (Qualifications/Education)
- Also mention "We offer a fantastic total rewards package..." includes benefits (Benefits)
- Pay: Not specific numbers, just mention base salary determined by factors, not a range. The instruction: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. Benefits are stated (list). Pay: they mention base salary determined on factors, but no actual numbers or range. That is not specific pay info; it's vague. Should we include Pay section? The rule: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. "Base salary is determined on a number of factors..." is stating something about pay but not a specific range. It's still stating something about pay. However they said avoid filler like "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD". This is similar to "determined on a number of factors". Might be considered vague. Safer to omit Pay section. Schedule: not mentioned. So we omit Pay and Schedule.
Benefits: they list many items. So include Benefits section.
Skills: maybe we can extract skills from responsibilities and requirements: e.g., electrical and instrument aptitude, familiarity with industrial chemical process facilities, ability to be on-call, communicate effectively, desire to learn new technologies, knowledge of industrial gas systems, medium and low voltage electrical systems, instrumentation and control systems, etc. Could create Skills section.
Qualifications: Education And Experience section.
About the role: Position Summary.
Responsibilities: Core Duties And Responsibilities.
We need to use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. For prose, use
.
We must not repeat job title as heading. Not include Job ID etc.
We need to preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep details, but we can format as lists.
We need to ensure we don't lose any detail. Let's extract.
Position Summary text:
"This position is responsible for coordinating the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and general/preventative maintenance of electrical and instrument equipment at the hydrogen liquification plant located in Woodbine, GA. This role requires excellent electrical and instrument aptitude and a high degree of familiarity with industrial chemical process facilities. This role requires the ability to be on-call and to respond to urgent needs so that the plant maintains capabilities around the clock. The ideal candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively among cross-functional departments with an emphasis on helping maintenance/improving reliability and equipment healthiness of H2 production facility. The candidate must demonstrate a desire to learn new technologies and processes. Additionally, the I&E Technician should also be highly knowledgeable with the operation and troubleshooting of industrial gas systems and components. The candidate must also be fully knowledgeable in medium and low voltage (35KV to 120VAC) electrical systems and working experience in instrumentation and control systems."
We'll keep that as prose under About the role (

).
Core Duties And Responsibilities: many bullet-like sentences. We'll convert each sentence into - . Need to preserve all details.
Let's list them:

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Results and Task-oriented and driven work style.
We could treat these as Requirements/Qualifications. The instruction: Use headings like Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. We need to decide which to use. Could combine Education And Experience into Qualifications. Skills could be separate list of skills like electrical aptitude, communication, etc. But we might avoid duplication. Perhaps we put Education And Experience under Qualifications, and we can also have Skills section derived from responsibilities (like electrical and instrument aptitude, etc.). However we must not invent or summarize away detail; we can list skills explicitly mentioned.
Let's extract skills from the posting:
- Excellent electrical and instrument aptitude
- High degree of familiarity with industrial chemical process facilities
- Ability to be on-call and respond to urgent needs
- Ability to communicate effectively among cross-functional departments
- Emphasis on helping maintenance/improving reliability and equipment healthiness
- Desire to learn new technologies and processes
- Highly knowledgeable with operation and troubleshooting of industrial gas systems and components
- Fully knowledgeable in medium and low voltage (35KV to 120VAC) electrical systems
- Working experience in instrumentation and control systems
- Working knowledge of SEL 751/787/710, UMC-100, E-300 relays
- Working knowledge on High voltage electrical system
- Ability to work closely with and monitor contracted 3rd party
- Support/Monitor troubleshooting, calibration, functional check, maintenance of electronic, analog, digital process control instrument and control systems
- Ability to execute work orders, identify corrective maintenance activities, enter into CMMS
- Ability to work closely and communicate directly with contractors, OEM vendors, suppliers
- Ability to assist in training and development of new E&I techs/apprentices
- Mentor by providing guidance and sharing experience
- Prepared to respond urgently to equipment repair needs
- Travel occasionally (0-20%)
- Represent Plug Power professionally
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Results and task-oriented driven work style
- Ability to interpret technical documents (SWD, P&ID, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience with test equipment and troubleshooting complex electrical systems (list)
- Preferred experience in industrial DCS or PLC systems and ability to learn/troubleshoot
- Ability to understand, undertake, create, or improve industrial safety work procedures
- NFPA 70E training certificate preferred or completed
- High-voltage Safety training under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269 preferred or accept training
Many of these overlap with responsibilities and qualifications. To avoid duplication, we could have a single Requirements section that includes education, experience, and skills. But the instruction says use headings like Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. We could have Qualifications for education/experience, Skills for abilities, and Responsibilities for duties. That seems reasonable.
We must not create sections with filler. All have content.
