Essential Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of internal data management systems and regulatory compliance programs.
  • Execute, ACTS, Peloton (WellView/SiteView), Power BI, and Excel.
  • Implement and enhance regulatory compliance reporting systems and related processes.
  • Prepare and submit technical reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver regulatory compliance and prevention training programs.
  • Manage third-party contractors by overseeing schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with operations to establish best management practices that ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with EHS staff and cross-functional teams to support well, facility, and gathering system development.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal departments and regulatory agencies.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to support operational objectives.
  • Participate in seminars and training to remain current on regulatory requirements.

Role-Specific Technical Knowledge & Skills

  • Maintain extensive knowledge of ECMC regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Possess a working knowledge of Bureau of Land Management (BLM) regulations.
  • Show strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Show strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
  • Lead the implementation of compliance systems and related projects.
  • Manage third-party contractors as required.
  • Build, validate, and maintain data within database systems.
  • Conduct data analysis and evaluation to support compliance and operational needs.
  • Assist in the development of data collection processes and reporting tools.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Environmental Science, Engineering, Health Sciences, or a closely related scientific discipline is required.
  • Minimum of nine (9) years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least five (5) years in regulatory and/or environmental roles.
