We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. Must not repeat job title as heading. Must not include Job ID etc. Must remove boilerplate like EEO, equal opportunity, scam warning, application instructions, duplicated lines, cookie/navigation/legal. Must preserve all substantive info.
We need to parse the posting.
Let's extract sections:
- About the role: The first paragraph(s) describing role: "Make Your Mark The Senior Director, Strategic Solution Advisory is a high-impact leadership role responsible for scaling BlackLine’s solution consulting excellence and architecting the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for our new Forward-Deployed Advisory practice. Operating at the intersection of enterprise sales, modern accounting transformation, and product innovation, you will lead an elite team of Solution Advisors embedded in top-tier strategic pursuits, guiding CAOs, CIOs, and Controllers through consultative discovery, target-state solution architecture, and tangible automation roadmaps. By bridging boardroom strategy with hands-on technical validation and institutionalizing consultative best practices across our global GTM engine, you will elevate BlackLine’s sales motion, compress complex enterprise deal cycles, and ensure long-term customer value realization."
That's about the role.
- Responsibilities: The bullet list after "You'll Get To" includes many responsibilities: Build & Operationalize Forward-Deployed Advisory GTM, Lead & Mentor an Elite Advisory Team, Partner with the C-Suite on Flagship Deals, Institutionalize Rigorous Discovery & Solution Architecture, Democratize Solution Best Practices Across GTM, Translate Next-Gen AI & Automation into Operational Reality, Unify the Pre-to-Post Sales Solution Continuum.
We need to put each as .
- Requirements: The "What You'll Bring" section includes Academic & Professional Credentials, Proven Solution Advisory Leadership, Domain Depth in Finance, Accounting, or ERP Architectures, Forward-Deployed & Strategic Program Incubation, Executive Presence & Consultative Acumen, Cross-Functional Collaboration & GTM Alignment. Those are requirements/qualifications. We can separate Requirements (maybe experience) and Qualifications (education/certs). But we can combine if needed. The instruction: Use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Skills). So we can have both Requirements and Qualifications.
We need to decide what goes where.
"Academic & Professional Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree ... required. An advanced degree ... highly preferred." That's qualifications.
"Proven Solution Advisory Leadership: A minimum of 10 to 12+ years ..." That's requirement (experience).
"Domain Depth in Finance, Accounting, or ERP Architectures: Deep expertise ..." That's requirement or qualification? Could be requirement.
"Forward-Deployed & Strategic Program Incubation: Demonstrated experience developing, piloting, or scaling specialized pre-sales or forward-deployed consulting models ..." That's requirement.
"Executive Presence & Consultative Acumen: Exceptional communication and presentation skills ..." That's skill.
"Cross-Functional Collaboration & GTM Alignment: Demonstrated success partnering closely ..." That's skill.
Thus we can have:
- Requirements: Proven Solution Advisory Leadership (10-12+ years), Domain Depth in Finance/Accounting/ERP, Forward-Deployed & Strategic Program Incubation.
- Qualifications: Academic & Professional Credentials (Bachelor's required, advanced degree or certs preferred).
- Skills: Executive Presence & Consultative Acumen, Cross-Functional Collaboration & GTM Alignment.
Now Benefits: The posting mentions "In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans." Also earlier: "Thrive At BlackLine Because You Are Joining A technology-based company with a sense of adventure and a vision for the future. Every door at BlackLine is open. Just bring your brains, your problem-solving skills, and be part of a winning team at the world's most trusted name in Finance Automation! A culture that is kind, open, and accepting. It's a place where people can embrace what makes them unique, and the mix of cultural backgrounds and varying interests cultivates diverse thought and perspectives. A culture where BlackLiner's continued growth and learning is empowered. BlackLine offers a wide variety of professional development seminars and inclusive affinity groups to celebrate and support our diversity."
These are benefits/culture. We can put under Benefits: professional development seminars, inclusive affinity groups, short-term and long-term incentive programs, robust benefit and wellness plans, culture kind/open/accepting, growth and learning empowered.
But we must not include boilerplate like EEO etc. The culture statements are okay.
Pay: Salary Range $193,000.00-$242,000.00 plus mention of short-term and long-term incentive programs, variable incentive components split model. So we can include Pay section with salary range and note about incentives.
Schedule: "Candidates who live within a reasonable commute to one of our offices will work in the office at least 3 days a week." That's schedule info (hybrid). So we can include Schedule.
Now we must not include duplicated lines, cookie/navigation/legal/EEO etc. The posting includes repeated accommodation statements twice; we should remove duplicates. Also remove "BlackLine is an equal opportunity employer..." etc. Also remove "BlackLine recognizes that the ways we work..." etc? That's about hybrid work; we already captured schedule. Might keep that as part of schedule but not duplicate.
We must preserve all substantive information; not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep specifics like "short-term and long-term incentive programs", "robust offering of benefit and wellness plans", "professional development seminars", "inclusive affinity groups", "culture that is kind, open, and accepting", "mix of cultural backgrounds and varying interests cultivates diverse thought and perspectives", "BlackLiner's continued growth and learning is empowered", "wide variety of professional development seminars and inclusive affinity groups". Some of these may be repetitive; we need to keep but not duplicate.
We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences.
Let's craft.
Structure:
About the role
... (the paragraph)
Responsibilities
- Build & Operationalize Forward-Deployed Advisory GTM: Architect, pilot, and scale a new Forward-Deployed Advisory practice within our GTM engine. Embed senior advisory strategists directly into Tier-1 strategic pursuits and high-complexity digital transformations, accelerating time-to-decision through hands-on technical validation, tailored proofs-of-concept, and deep architectural alignment.
- Lead & Mentor an Elite Advisory Team: Direct and mentor a team of senior Solution Advisors, fostering a culture of consultative rigor, domain excellence in modern accounting, and continuous professional growth across enterprise pursuits.
- Partner with the C-Suite on Flagship Deals: Act as the premier solution sponsor and trusted technical advisor on multi-million-dollar, board-visible transformations, establishing deep technical and operational credibility with Chief Accounting Officers (CAOs), Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Controllers, and CFOs.
- Institutionalize Rigorous Discovery & Solution Architecture: Establish and enforce global standards for consultative discovery, ensuring solution architectures are rooted in customer operational pain points, complex ERP/financial ecosystems, and tangible end-state workflows rather than off-the-shelf feature sets.
- Democratize Solution Best Practices Across GTM: Partner closely with Sales Leadership and Enablement to elevate solution-selling competencies across the broader GTM organization. Design repeatable "art-of-the-possible" demonstration assets, executive-level narrative scripts, and rapid-deployment solution plays that compress enterprise sales cycles.

- Unify the Pre-to-Post Sales Solution Continuum: Collaborate closely with Product Development to channel market requirements from strategic accounts into the product roadmap, and partner with Customer Success and Professional Services to ensure seamless solution design handoffs for rapid time-to-value.
Requirements
- Proven Solution Advisory Leadership: A minimum of 10 to 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise SaaS Solution Consulting, Pre-Sales, or Strategic Solution Architecture, with a verifiable track record of managing and mentoring high-caliber advisory teams in complex B2B environments.
- Domain Depth in Finance, Accounting, or ERP Architectures: Deep expertise in the Office of the CFO/CAO, with solid command of core accounting processes (Record-to-Report, Financial Close, Intercompany, Cash Application) and their interplay with enterprise ERP landscapes (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
- Forward-Deployed & Strategic Program Incubation: Demonstrated experience developing, piloting, or scaling specialized pre-sales or forward-deployed consulting models that embed advisory resources into strategic accounts to drive outsized expansion and retention.
Qualifications
- Academic & Professional Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, or a related field is required. An advanced degree (MBA/MS) or professional certifications (CPA, CMA, or relevant ERP/cloud certifications) are highly preferred.
Skills
- Executive Presence & Consultative Acumen: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to command boardrooms, navigate multi-stakeholder consensus cycles, and articulate technical architecture in terms of operational impact.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & GTM Alignment: Demonstrated success partnering closely with Enterprise Sales VPs, Value Advisory, Product Management, and Professional Services to drive cohesive execution across the entire customer lifecycle.

- Short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility.

Pay
Salary Range $193,000.00‑$242,000.00. In addition to base pay, BlackLine offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans. Compensation may follow a split model (e.g., 50/50, 70/30, or 60/40) between base salary and variable incentive.
Schedule
Candidates who live within a reasonable commute to one of our offices will work in the office at least 3 days a week (hybrid work model).
We need to ensure no duplicated content. Benefits list includes short-term and long-term incentive programs also mentioned in Pay; but it's okay to mention in both as it's substantive. However we might avoid duplication: maybe keep incentive programs only in Pay, but Benefits also includes robust benefit and wellness plans, professional development seminars, inclusive affinity groups, culture statements. We can keep incentive programs in Pay only. But the Benefits section originally had short-term and long-term incentive programs; we could keep them there as well but risk duplication. The instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away
