About the role
The Sr. Director, Product Marketing will lead the global technical marketing strategy for an innovative cybersecurity and identity platform. This executive role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, sales, and security teams to shape compelling market narratives.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve technical messaging frameworks that clearly communicate the value of identity security solutions, connecting capabilities to enterprise security priorities such as Zero Trust, phishing-resistant authentication, and emerging AI security challenges.
- Develop highly structured, authoritative technical content including reference architectures, integration guides, product documentation, and technical collateral optimized for enterprise evaluation and modern AI-driven search environments.
- Lead technical go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring alignment across product management, engineering, sales, partners, and marketing teams.
- Enable global sales and solutions engineering teams through technical presentations, demos, proof-of-concept materials, competitive intelligence, and customer-facing resources.
- Conduct competitive research and technical analysis of identity, authentication, and cybersecurity solutions to provide actionable insights for business and technical stakeholders.
- Represent the organization as a technical security thought leader through industry events, webinars, developer communities, and security-focused forums.
- Partner closely with engineering and product teams to ensure market feedback informs product direction and customer needs.
- Drive adoption of modern content strategies, including machine-readable technical information and AI-friendly knowledge architectures, to improve discoverability and influence enterprise buying decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, developer relations, solutions engineering, or technical content roles within cybersecurity, identity management, cloud infrastructure, or related technology domains.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), authentication technologies, cryptographic concepts, and modern security frameworks.
- Familiarity with technologies and standards such as FIDO2/WebAuthn, PKI, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and enterprise directory services.
- Experience translating highly technical concepts into compelling business narratives for security leaders, enterprise buyers, developers, and technical audiences.
- Understanding of generative AI technologies, large language models (LLMs), vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
- Proven ability to create technical content, enable sales teams, and develop scalable go-to-market programs.
- Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across product, engineering, sales, and marketing organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical technical experience preferred.
