We need to remove boilerplate: EEO statements, accommodation contact, Federal rights, etc. Also remove duplicated lines? Not many duplicates.
We need to preserve substantive info: intro about role, responsibilities, required qualifications, preferred qualifications, salary and benefits, business unit summary (maybe as "About the role" or "About the company"? The instruction: Use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we need to map content to these headings.
We have:
- About the role: could be the introductory paragraphs describing the role, location, reporting lines. That's substantive.
- Responsibilities: the "Key Responsibilities" block.
- Requirements: maybe "Required Qualifications". Could be under Requirements or Qualifications. The instruction says we can have Requirements and Qualifications separate. We could put Required Qualifications under Requirements (or Qualifications). Since they ask to prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones, we could combine Required and Preferred Qualifications into a Qualifications section, maybe split into Required and Preferred as subpoints? But we must use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we can list each qualification as li.
We also have Skills: maybe not explicitly listed; but we could infer from qualifications (communication skills, etc). However we should not invent. If there is no explicit Skills section, we should not create one. So we skip Skills unless there is explicit skill list. The posting includes "strong communication skills, sound business judgment, commercial acumen, action bias, a continuous improvement mindset and high learning agility." That's under responsibilities? Actually it's in responsibilities block: "This role requires a humble, adaptable, resilient and courageous leader who excels with strong communication skills, sound business judgment, commercial acumen, action bias, a continuous improvement mindset and high learning agility." That's more like qualifications/requirements. Could be placed under Qualifications.
We have Benefits and Pay: Salary and Benefits section includes base salary range and benefits. So we can have Pay section (salary range) and Benefits section (list of benefits). Or combine Pay and Benefits? The instruction says include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it. It has both salary and benefits, so we can have Pay and Benefits separate.
Schedule: no mention of schedule (full-time, etc). Not present, so we omit Schedule.
We also have Business Unit Summary: could be considered "About the role" or maybe "About the company". Since we already have About the role for role description, we could add another section like "About the company" but not in allowed headings list. The allowed headings list includes About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we should map Business Unit Summary to About the role? Might be redundant. Perhaps we can incorporate Business Unit Summary into About the role as extra paragraph.
Thus sections:
- About the role: combine introductory role description + Business Unit Summary.
- Responsibilities: list from Key Responsibilities.
- Qualifications: combine Required and Preferred Qualifications (maybe separate subheadings? But we cannot add extra headings beyond allowed; we could still use
to note "Required Qualifications:" then list, then "Preferred Qualifications:" then list. That's okay.
- Pay: salary range.
- Benefits: list of benefits.
We must not include fluff like "commensurate with experience". Not present.
We must not include boilerplate: EEO, accommodation, etc. Remove those lines.
Now produce HTML fragment.
We need to use
for each section heading. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We must not output or or markdown.
Let's craft.
