Sr. Director, Forensics

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Director, Forensics to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This leader will oversee a global forensics and collections practice, ensuring delivery is defensible, compliant, and consistent across regions. The role will shape the operating model for a distributed team while partnering closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and vendors to support complex matters and drive growth. This is a highly visible leadership position that blends operational excellence, commercial fluency, and technical expertise in digital forensics and eDiscovery collections.

Schedule

Remote — US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Pay

$160,000 – $200,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead forensics and collections as a unified global practice
• Oversee end-to-end collection delivery, ensuring compliance and defensibility
• Establish and maintain a standardized operating model across regions
• Develop and mentor regional directors and managers to enhance team performance
• Serve as the primary client-facing expert for forensics and support revenue growth
• Manage the forensics toolchain and vendor relationships to optimize performance
• Track and report on key performance indicators and unit economics

Qualifications

• 12+ years in digital forensics, eDiscovery collections, or investigations, including 5+ years in leadership roles
• Deep expertise in forensic acquisition and analysis across platforms including cloud and mobile
• Proven client-facing experience handling complex matters and escalations
• Experience managing utilization-based teams and capacity planning across regions
• Strong understanding of remote and self-collection tools and the impact of AI on workflows
• Commercial fluency with experience in budgeting and pricing services
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
