What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end strategy, architecture, and lifecycle management of Yahoo's global corporate applications portfolio (ERP, HRIS, CLM, etc.).
- Lead the transition from traditional manual workflows to AI-augmented oversight, identifying opportunities to deploy generative AI for automated procurement, financial forecasting, and HR self-service.
- Implement AI-driven diagnostics and observability tools to proactively monitor system health and predict performance bottlenecks before they impact the business.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, encouraging teams to leverage AI pair-programming (e.g., Copilot) and automated testing to accelerate delivery cycles.
- Define and execute a multi-year roadmap that balances technical debt reduction with the adoption of intelligent workflows and AI-enabled decision-making tools.
- Align application strategy with Yahoo's broader data and security standards, ensuring responsible and compliant AI usage across all corporate systems.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders (CTO, CFO, CPO, General Counsel), translating complex technical roadmaps into measurable business impact.
- Lead a high-performing global organization of managers and senior managers, focusing on AI-forward mindset development and technical upskilling.
- Establish scalable operating models that empower teams to validate and refine AI-generated outputs rather than performing repetitive manual data entry.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Mandatory).
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise applications or corporate IT leadership.
- 10+ years of leadership experience managing managers and global, cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of scaling enterprise-wide application portfolios in a high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing AI-driven efficiencies (e.g., LLM integrations, automated workflows) within corporate functions.
- Experience with prompt engineering or structured interaction with enterprise AI tools (e.g., Glean, Gemini) for productivity and data synthesis.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Mandatory).
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise applications or corporate IT leadership.

- Proven track record of scaling enterprise-wide application portfolios in a high-growth environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Masters or MBA) in a relevant field.
- Experience in highly regulated environments with a focus on AI governance and data privacy.
- Expertise in evaluating and validating AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy and mitigate "hallucination" risks in financial or legal systems.
- Experience with ServiceNow AI, Workday AI, or similar intelligent SaaS modules.
- Familiarity with engineering applications and developer tooling (e.g., source control, CI/CD, ALM platforms), with the ability to partner effectively with engineering organizations.
