Sr Director Data Science - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Director Data Science - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This leader will guide enterprise data science and data product efforts that support strategic decision-making and business execution across the organization. The role will partner closely with business, technology, and executive stakeholders to turn priorities into scalable product and platform outcomes. A strong emphasis will be placed on roadmap ownership, cross-functional leadership, and aligning data initiatives with broader business and compliance needs. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $159,300 – $273,200 annually Responsibilities Lead a team of Business Analysts and Product Managers to develop the data mart Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategic priorities into technical product features Manage product vision, definitions, and multi-year roadmaps while overseeing backlog management Direct teams in technology and data product build plans, prioritization, and execution Oversee initial product testing and automated SOX controls before User Acceptance Testing Align financial systems strategy with business objectives through executive collaboration Qualifications 15+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and/or financial systems 10+ years of experience in finance transformation or building and owning financial systems 5+ years of experience leading and managing cross-functional teams Proven ability to communicate and influence effectively at all organizational levels Benefits Comprehensive benefits package Incentive and recognition programs Equity stock purchase option 401k contribution Opportunities for career development and growth Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
