Data Science Director - Remote

Responsibilities

• Lead development of machine learning models for pricing and underwriting decisions
• Enhance and support model lifecycle practices for operational reliability
• Provide technical leadership in machine learning and statistical modeling
• Drive execution on model products and manage delivery plans
• Collaborate with various teams to integrate model outputs into business processes
• Translate analytical insights into actionable business strategies
• Ensure compliance with model governance and quality standards
• Build and develop a high-performing data science organization

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data science or related quantitative field
• 5+ years leading technical teams in analytics or machine learning
• Strong expertise in machine learning and statistical modeling
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Git
• Experience managing model lifecycle processes effectively
• Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to stakeholders

Pay

$178,500 – $297,500 annually
