Sr. Director, Cost Accounting

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Director, Cost Accounting to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This leader will shape the long-term direction of the cost accounting function, with a strong focus on inventory, product costing, and operational accounting. The role partners closely with executive leadership and key business units to strengthen forecasting, improve reporting, and align accounting strategies with broader business objectives. The position also plays a central role in modernizing systems and driving process improvements across a global environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $161,100 – $328,900 annually Responsibilities Develop and execute the long-term vision for the cost accounting organization Lead transformations for cost accounting processes and reporting capabilities Establish best practices for inventory and operational accounting Align cost accounting strategies with company objectives in partnership with executive leadership Oversee global inventory accounting and product costing processes Lead operational forecasting alongside key business units Drive modernization of cost accounting through system enhancements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required CPA preferred 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, particularly in cost accounting within manufacturing or supply chain 7+ years of leadership experience managing accounting teams Public accounting experience is a plus Benefits Remote opportunity based in the US Eligibility for a performance-based bonus Comprehensive benefits package details available during recruitment Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
