Sr. Director, Corporate Accounting

Accounting$150k–$220k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes a mission statement at start: "Come join one of America’s fastest-growing insurance companies...". That's about the company. Could be "About the role" or "About the company". The instructions: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading. Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. We need to decide which sections to include based on content. Content includes: - Intro about company: mission, values, etc. Could be "About the role" or maybe "About the company". The instruction says use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we can use "About the role" for the introductory paragraph describing role and company. - Role Summary: description of Sr. Director, Corporate Accounting responsibilities. Could be part of "Responsibilities". There's also "Essential Duties And Responsibilities" list. - Minimum Qualifications: bullet list? It's a paragraph: "Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 16+ years of related experience. CPA strongly preferred. Experience leading and developing accounting professionals. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial close processes, account reconciliations, internal controls, and financial reporting. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work independently within time constraints and reporting deadlines." - AI Proficiency Expectations: could be part of "Skills" or "Additional Expectations". Might be considered "Skills". Could create a "Skills" section. - Additional Expectations for AI-Forward Roles: list of core competencies (Cultivates Innovation, Ensures Accountability, Directs Work, Demonstrates Emotional Intelligence, Exhibits Critical and Creative Thinking, Leads Change, Develops Talent, Inspires Others). That's a list; could be under "Skills" or separate "Competencies". But we only have allowed headings: Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule, etc. Could put under Skills. - Benefits: there is a Benefits paragraph: "Your benefits start day one and are flexible and customizable..." plus mention of base pay range etc. There's also "Base Pay Range." and "Additional Compensation and Benefits." and "Salary Pay Range $150,000 - $220,000 USD". So we have Pay and Benefits content. According to instruction, we should include Pay and Benefits sections only if posting actually states them. It does state base pay range and benefits. So we should include Pay and Benefits sections. - Schedule: there is mention: "This position currently offers an onsite work schedule, with the expectation that you will be in the office four (4) days per week during onsite core days. Our current onsite core days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The work schedule type and core days are subject to change with advance notification and manager discretion." So we have schedule info; include Schedule section. - Also there is "National Life Group® is a trade name..." etc. That's boilerplate legal; we should remove. - Also "National Life is accepting applications..." etc. That's application instructions; remove. - Also "Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship for this position." That's a minor metadata; we could fold into a short p or drop. Probably include as a short p under About the role or maybe as a note. We must not repeat job title as heading. So no heading for Sr. Director, Corporate Accounting. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. We'll structure:

    About the role

Come join one of America’s fastest-growing insurance companies. Since 1848, National Life Group has aimed to keep our promises, providing families with stability in good times and in bad. Throughout that history, we have provided peace of mind to those families as they plan their futures. Our mission extends beyond the insurance and annuities policies that we offer. We strive to make the world a better place through our grants from our charitable foundation, paid volunteer time for our employees, environmentally sustainable and healthy workplaces, and events that promote the work of nonprofits in our own backyard. We foster a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and encourage our associates to live our values: Do good. Be good. Make good. Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.

Then Role Summary could be part of Responsibilities? Actually we have a separate "Role Summary" paragraph describing the role. Could be included under About the role or Responsibilities. Since we already have About the role covering company mission, we could add Role Summary there as well. But maybe better to have a separate "Responsibilities" section for duties. The Role Summary is more of an overview; we could put it under About the role as well. However we also have "Essential Duties And Responsibilities" list. So we can have:
