What You’ll Lead & Influence As the Senior Director of Continuous Improvement, you’ll advance and scale an established CI operating system across a multi‑category, multi‑site food manufacturing organization. You’ll build on strong operational foundations by increasing consistency, accelerating impact, and strengthening leadership behaviors as PCB continues to grow. Your early focus will be on Manufacturing, reinforcing standards, daily management discipline, and visual management, before expanding practices across the enterprise. You Will Advance CI Strategy & Enterprise Alignment by evolving the CI operating system, reinforcing common standards, and ensuring CI priorities tightly connect to business strategy and measurable value creation, in partnership with Finance.Strengthen Manufacturing CI Execution by reducing performance variability, reinforcing daily management and problem solving, and enabling plants to benchmark and scale best practices. You will support Plant Managers in sustaining improvements and scaling wins. Elevate Visual & Daily Management by ensuring performance visuals are clear, current, and actionable. You’ll embed visuals into tiered huddles, shift handoffs, and lead standard work to surface issues quickly and resolve them at the right level.Lead Culture & Behavior Change by coaching leaders to use performance data effectively, while reinforcing accountability, problem solving, and psychological safety.Develop & Lead the CI Team by guiding a small but high impact corporate CI team focused on coaching, scalability, and stewardship of CI standards. You’ll ensure resources are deployed to the highest value opportunities.Build CI Capability Enterprise Wide through targeted training, certification, and experiential learning. You’ll partner with HR to integrate CI behaviors into leadership development and succession planning.Expand CI Beyond Manufacturing in a planned, sustainable way, adapting rigor for non‑manufacturing environments while grounding expansion in proven operational success.Ensure Governance & Sustainability by strengthening governance, owning CI metrics, driving accountability, and embedding CI into everyday operations and long-term planning. Qualifications What We’re Looking For Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree required.5+ years of Director-level experience, with 10+ years in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement.Demonstrated success implementing and scaling CI systems and culture in complex organizations.Deep expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), daily management, and visual management systems.Strong financial acumen with experience validating results. Skills & Leadership Capabilities Proven success leading Lean across multiple manufacturing sites.Hands‑on, credible leader who influences without authority and builds partnerships from the plant floor to the executive level.Skilled in change management, stakeholder management, and overcoming CI/Lean skepticism.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complexity into actionable insights.Excellent communication skills, including presenting to senior executives.Strategic mindset with the ability to develop CI practices that engage and empower teams. Location & Travel This role is based at our Lakeville, MN headquarters.Successful performance requires meaningful time in our manufacturing environments across our multi‑site network, including regular travel to plant locations.
