Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership
    • Define and execute strategy across multiple digital products.
    • Align the product portfolio with enterprise priorities and financial outcomes.
    • Drive investment decisions based on business value, ROI, and portfolio-level tradeoffs.
  • People Leadership
    • Lead, coach, and develop Product Owners and digital product team members.
    • Establish clear accountability for backlog ownership, product outcomes, and delivery discipline.
    • Build consistent product management practices, standards, and ways of working across the portfolio.
  • Roadmap & Prioritization
    • Own the integrated portfolio roadmap and prioritization approach across assigned digital products.
    • Balance demand, capacity, dependencies, and strategic alignment when shaping roadmap decisions.
    • Ensure Product Owners maintain high-quality backlogs aligned to roadmap objectives, OKRs, and measurable outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Align senior stakeholders on roadmap priorities, tradeoffs, scope decisions, and value expectations.
    • Serve as an escalation point across business, IT, transformation, and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Delivery & Value Realization
    • Ensure delivery of measurable business value across the digital product portfolio.
    • Define and monitor KPIs, OKRs, adoption metrics, and benefit realization across products.
    • Validate value realization frameworks and benefit tracking to ensure outcomes are visible and credible.
  • Process Transformation Alignment
    • Partner with Process and Operations Transformation teams to connect product strategy to process improvement opportunities.
    • Leverage process insights to inform prioritization, roadmap sequencing, adoption planning, and portfolio decisions.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure product portfolio alignment with regulatory, risk, and internal governance standards.
    • Represent the digital product portfolio in relevant governance forums and decision-making routines.
  • Change Management & Adoption
    • Oversee adoption, communication, and training strategies for digital product capabilities.
    • Drive enterprise adoption of digital capabilities by partnering with enablement, operations, and stakeholder teams.

Requirements

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred (Business, Technology, Information Systems, Digital Strategy, or a related field).
  • Typically 7+ years of related experience in product management, digital strategy, fintech, or enterprise digital transformation.
  • Prior people management experience required, including 3+ years managing or leading product teams, Product Owners, or cross-functional squads.
  • Experience owning roadmaps, backlogs, and value delivery in Agile environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with experience influencing senior business and technology leaders.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of digital product management, portfolio management, product-led operating models, and business outcome ownership.
  • Ability to define product strategy, manage integrated roadmaps, and prioritize based on business value, ROI, dependencies, and capacity.
  • Experience establishing product management standards, backlog discipline, and consistent operating practices across teams.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, team development, accountability-setting, and performance management.
  • Ability to translate business priorities, process insights, and modernization objectives into actionable product outcomes.
  • Experience tracking and communicating KPIs, OKRs, adoption metrics, benefit realization, and financial or efficiency outcomes.
  • Experience partnering across business, IT, operations, transformation, risk, compliance, and enablement teams.
  • Familiarity with process transformation, automation, process mining, or digital workflow improvement preferred.
  • Domain knowledge in financial services, leasing, asset management, or fintech preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear executive-ready narratives and drive alignment across stakeholders.

Pay

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level.

  • United States of America: Annual Salary USD 119,500 - 275,000 in New Jersey (reflects base salary; variable incentives may also be offered).
