Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with communications team to publish and update web editorial content efficiently and on deadline.
- Adapt print magazine content for digital platforms, ensuring strong presentation and usability.
- Lead Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and audience engagement strategy across editorial content.
- Support development and production of editorial newsletters.
- Create and coordinate multimedia elements (infographics, photo galleries, and visual assets).
- Copyedit and proofread content to meet editorial standards and ensure accuracy.
- Publish and manage content within Content Management System (CMS), ensuring compliance with organizational processes and standards.
- Analyze digital performance using Google Analytics and other tools; contribute to reporting and insights.
- Provide quality assurance for web content and liaise with technical teams on site performance, bugs, and enhancements.
- Support editorial leadership and special initiatives (e.g., photo challenge program) and provide flexible team support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English or related field.
- 8+ years web producer experience or equivalent.
- Experience in a full range of online communications approaches, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience with multiple web content management systems, such as WordPress, Sitecore, Adobe CQ5 and Drupal.
- Expertise in SEO, mobile optimization, and digital audience engagement, with ability to use analytics tools to evaluate performance and trends.
- Excellent writing, copyediting, and visual content skills, including AP style proficiency and image editing (e.g., Photoshop).
- Solid understanding of strategic communications and how content supports audience needs and organizational goals.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills, with demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
