About the role

In this important role, you will support DevSecOps development of solutions in support of multiple software product teams' needs with CI/CD pipelines tools and integrations. Engaging in the fundamentals of design, implementation, and execution of common DevSecOps methodology. Ability to install, integrate, test, fix, resolve issues, and maintain the software suite across a heterogenous environment. Be an important team member and work closely in agile teams utilizing the Scaled Agile Mastery to tackle a variety of technical problems. Contribute to the modernization of legacy applications and tools. Support multiple project objectives utilizing validated technical skills, implementing industry standard methodologies, and collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and customers. Administer Atlassian systems to support Agile processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support DevSecOps development of solutions in support of multiple software product teams' needs with CI/CD pipelines tools and integrations.
  • Engage in the fundamentals of design, implementation, and execution of common DevSecOps methodology.
  • Install, integrate, test, fix, resolve issues, and maintain the software suite across a heterogenous environment.
  • Be an important team member and work closely in agile teams utilizing the Scaled Agile Mastery to tackle a variety of technical problems.
  • Contribute to the modernization of legacy applications and tools.
  • Support multiple project objectives utilizing validated technical skills, implementing industry standard methodologies, and collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and customers.
  • Administer Atlassian systems to support Agile processes.

Requirements

  • Previous DevOps experience or software focus in automation.
  • Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software.
  • Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS), Windows Server and Workstation.
  • Experience with Agile, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
  • Understanding of System Scripting (bash, Python, PowerShell, batch, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo).
  • Experience providing technical support, training, and guidance to program personnel on DevSecOps tools and software development lifecycle (tools such as GitLab, Nexus and CI tools).
  • Experience with Docker and/or Containerization.
  • Knowledge in controlling third party software (COTS, GOTS, and FOSS) to ensure efficient storage and re-usability across the program.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile Process Tools (VersionOne, Atlassian Tools JIRA, etc.).
  • Ability to support multiple release project schedules simultaneously.
  • Understanding of Test automation and how to implement in a pipeline approach.
  • Experience with static analysis tools and integrating into a pipeline (Fortify, Coverity).
  • Understanding of containerization – experience with Kubernetes and/or helm charts.
  • Infrastructure implementation of virtualized hosts in VMWare.
  • Atlassian System Administrator skills highly desired.

Skills

  • Experience with DevSecOps tools and software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to write and maintain CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, chef/puppet).
  • Experience with static analysis tools and integrating into a pipeline.
  • Experience with containerization and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with virtualized hosts in VMWare.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 - $171,235. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.

Schedule

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
