About the role
We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Software Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to join our team. You will automate, scale, and secure our GCP infrastructure and application delivery pipelines, bridging the gap between development and operations to ensure high availability, performance, and security for our microservices architecture and data processing pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain GCP infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Manage, scale, and secure production applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) using Docker and Helm charts.
- Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for seamless deployment of microservices and React.JS web applications.
- Implement and maintain autoscaling for backend services and data pipelines to ensure reliability.
- Administer and optimize PostgreSQL, StarRocks, and RabbitMQ for high performance.
- Develop and maintain containerized ETL data pipelines to process high-volume data.
- Manage user access and permissions using GCP IAM, ensuring secure infrastructure configuration.
- Automate routine tasks and create integration scripts using Python.
- Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to proactively identify production issues.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer role.
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong expertise in Terraform and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Proficiency in Docker and Helm.
- Strong scripting skills in Python (Bash is a plus).
- Experience with PostgreSQL, StarRocks (or similar OLAP databases), and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana).
Preferred Skills
- Experience optimizing React.JS application deployments.
- Understanding of object storage lifecycle policies (GCS).
- Experience with infrastructure security audits.
