Sr DevOps Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Sr DevOps Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will help shape the DevOps operating model across enterprise-scale, mission-critical environments that support real customer impact. You will partner closely with architecture and engineering leaders to improve deployment reliability, automation, and release discipline. The position is centered on building and governing CI/CD standards, cloud-native practices, and production support processes that enable multiple scrum teams to deliver efficiently. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 annually Responsibilities Provide architectural oversight for DevOps and CI/CD practices across scrum teams Partner with architects to align DevOps solutions with business strategy Define standards for build, deployment, and environment management Lead the design of automated CI/CD pipelines and workflows Establish best practices for source control and release management Drive adoption of cloud-native architectures using Kubernetes Provide Level-3 support for complex production incidents Qualifications 10+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles Proven experience in enterprise-scale production environments Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD practices Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows application deployment Advanced automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages Deep expertise in Docker and Kubernetes Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform Benefits Work on large-scale, mission-critical systems with real customer impact Influence architecture and DevOps strategy across multiple teams Collaborate with strong engineering and architecture leadership Be part of a culture that values quality, integrity, and continuous improvement Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
