Sr. DevOps Engineer
About the role
Join Accenture Federal Services, a technology company within global Accenture, as a DevOps Engineer SME. You will serve as the subject matter expert for enterprise DevOps strategy, CI/CD architecture, and secure software delivery. You will design and implement automated deployment platforms using GitLab, containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud-native patterns aligned to AFS accelerators and compliance frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design and support enterprise CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins.
- Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Support automated testing and software deployment across multi-environment pipelines.
- Strong scripting and automation experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and configuration-management tools.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex software, infrastructure, and deployment issues.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience designing and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins.

Pay
The base pay range for this position in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is $130,000—$220,000 USD.
Schedule
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the specified locations.
