Sr. DevOps (8-12 yrs)

The team at Advanced Space is leading humanity back to the Moon and pioneering innovative solutions in the space industry. Based in Westminster Colorado, this incredible team is looking for a skilled and experienced Sr. DevOps engineer with 8-12 years of experience who can lead the design, implementation and continuous improvements of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for DevOps architecture, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and operational best practices across multiple programs and internal platforms.
• Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure solutions in AWS and other cloud environments.
• Drive technical standards and best practices for Infrastructure as Code, system hardening, monitoring, logging, incident response, and deployment automation.
• Moderate proficiency using languages such as Python and bash scripting.
• Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform for managing infrastructure.
• Can apply understanding of engineering process to guide Software and DevOps projects from start to finish, in all phases.
• Keeping up with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in DevOps and related fields.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Understanding of server management, configuration, and maintenance.
• Begins to contribute to company best practice improvements.
• Engages in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry best practices and innovations.
• Familiarity with Git and other version control systems for managing code repositories.

Skills

• Skills in cybersecurity, threat investigation, vulnerability assessment, and change management.
• Ability to use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack for proactive monitoring and logging.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary Range – $125,000 - $145,000 based on role, employee experience, and location.
