MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OH || Hybrid Job Description Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Analysing requirements for software programs Writing or modifying code for complex programs, components, or applications Writing/performing development testing (i.e. unit testing, test-driven development – TDD) Creating and maintaining documentation Researching complex technical problems and recommending solutions. Required Skills SQL AE experienceComfortable working with SQL Server Always Encrypted (AE)C# and VBSchema analysis and remediation for encryption compatibility Application Security ExpertiseDeep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practicesExperience with threat modeling and vulnerability remediation Encryption ImplementationHands-on experience with data-at-rest and data-in-transit encryptionFamiliarity with key management and integration with enterprise security tools Data-Driven InquiryDemonstrates ability to analyze data and formulate meaningful questionsBrings insights and hypotheses back to the team to guide investigation and decision-makingLeads with curiosity to uncover root causes and improvement opportunities Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with limited documentation Collaboration & Communication Works effectively with cross-functional teams (security, architecture, infrastructure) Can explain technical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders Curiosity-driven problem solving Thrives on figuring things out without a full map Resilience in ambiguityComfortable making progress with partial information Bias toward actionIdentifies and executes remediation steps without waiting for perfect clarity Education And/Or Experience Required Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum four years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
