Sr. Designer, Sweaters - Almost Famous Clothing

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage creative development of sweaters from the beginning of proto development to factory comments and fitting in production level
• Research markets, shop retail, and interact with consumer to establish trends
• Source and choose yarns and knitting stitch designs for samples
• Create development tech-packs including technical flat sketches, specs, stitches, patterns, and construction details
• Present sample as envisioned
• Create CAD sketches and stitch/pattern artwork
• Communicate with overseas venders and internal teams on product developments

Required Qualifications

• College degree in the fashion design preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in sweater industry
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, Power Point
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of target market

• The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 - $110,000
• Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
